Very Good

The breakfast was good, with variety and the products were fresh. The location was perfect: beautiful and peaceful.

The rooms are very expensive. They are very simple, the furniture is of poor quality as well as the decoration. The internet connection is weak and the TV frequently goes down.

Amazing place

Amazing property in a unique location. A perfect combination of eclectic rooms with modern and tranquille bedrooms. The views are amazing, watching the stars is amazing, the food is amazing and we loved using the pool.

Because of the remote location I liked that we were only there for a day, but if you're looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city this is the place!

Perfect for couples who like nature and quietness. Owner and staff make you feel at home.

Beautiful location. Perfect for a couple or group of friends. Clean rooms with a nice balcony with view. Zero noise!! Very naïf and natural social area including swimming pool.

The location is excellent, and the hotel space is fantastic!!! The view is beautiful, and thanks to the concept, tranquility prevails, making the environment very calm and relaxing! The rooms are in great condition; we stayed in one with a view of the dam! The staff is very friendly, attentive, and practical (e.g., we wanted a non-alcoholic cocktail, which wasn't on the menu, but the waiter improvised. He used fresh mint, picked directly from the garden at the entrance).

The restaurant prices were disproportionate to the portion sizes, although the food was generally tasty. For less than half the cost, we had traditional Alentejo cuisine in the village of Torrão.

Beautiful place to rest and relax, great location.

Beautiful setting on a dam, with soulful decor and friendly staff and owners. And the two lovely dogs was also a plus!

Restaurant was slightly expensive for what was offered.

Magical getaway place

The stunning surroundings, how quiet it is: you only hear birds and fish jumping in the water. The location is a magical mix of sky blue with trees green all reflected in the dam water mirror. Really great place for a city getaway and a deep technology detox

Nothing not to like: the hotel and the facilities exceeded my expectations. Really nice place to relax.

Relaxing long weekend

Beautiful, calm surroundings, and spacious, well-equipped rooms offered the best setting for a long weekend away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The view from our room was directly over the lake, providing the perfect backdrop to wake up to. The hotel has a restaurant that offers great breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The menu is short, focusing on local specialities, served in the most romantic garden. We went canoeing on the lake, which was a great experience, as there’s only nature around with no human intervention.

The restaurant has excellent food but the last night of our stay it was busy and the kitchen & staff seemed to have been overwhelmed because it took forever to be able to order, and even longer to actually get the food. We arrived to the restaurant at 20h30 and only got food at 22h30, at a point where we were no longer hungry and wanted to go to bed. We complained and they offered starters and dessert free of charge. We didn't get dessert because once the food came, it was really good and a lot, so we were no longer hungry. However, when we checked out the next day, we did notice the starters on the bill after all. The owner of the hotel is very welcoming and friendly, I would definitely return. But he was not involved in the operations of the restaurant at night and I bet these issues wouldn't have happened if he was aware of the situation. Just my two cents. I'd still recommend it because the food was excellent. Just make sure you don't enter the restaurant hungry, and can wait a while.
